Department announces procedures for reserving boat docks for Summer Festival
(March 11, 2005)
T-DOCKS REGISTRATION
- Registration Opens April
4, 8:30 AM - 4:30 pm at the Recreation Office, 310 W. Main St., Washington.

- 4-Day Minimum
- Water and Electricity Available
- Reservation Dates: June
8, 9, 10 & 11
- Boats must check in by 5
PM on June 10 or forfeit space.
- $.75 per foot per day, $150.00
maximum. Checks, Cash, Visa or Mastercard accepted
SUMMER FESTIVAL CANCELLATION
POLICY
- There will be no refunds
for cancellations unless another reservation can take its place.
SUMMER FESTIVAL RAFTING
POLICY
A rafted boat is defined as
a boat attached parallel to another boat by docking lines.
- Boats are not allowed to
tie onto the end of another boat, the end of the pier/dock, the blue
rail or any part of the bulkhead.
- Rafting is allowed on the
outside of T-Docks only and with written permission from the initial
slip renter.
- Rafters must be registered
and pay applicable fees ($0.75 per foot or $5.00 for up to 6 hours).
One rafter per outside space.
- Unregistered rafters will
be the responsibility of the initial renter.
USE OF BULKHEAD DOCKS DURING
SUMMER FESTIVAL
- 48-hour maximum dockage
rule lifted from Sunday, June 5, 1 pm to Monday, June 12, 12 noon
- Bulkhead Docks - Free
- No Water or Electricity
available
- First Come First Served
- No Reservations Available
- Dockers must register with
Dock Attendants upon arrival.
- One rafted boat is allowed
on Free Docks by written permission of the initial registered boater
only (on file in the dock station).
- Rafters must be registered.
Unauthorized rafters will be removed.
USE OF DINGHY DOCK DURING
SUMMER FESTIVAL
- During the event, the dinghy
dock is the only location for loading and unloading of riders!
